Международные авиаперевозки грузов

1.0 Introduction

1.1 Following Specified Activities and PRM charges consultation, this GAN sets out: the PRM Pricing changes with effect from 1 November 2012.

2.0 PRM Pricing & Invoicing
2.1 As part of the EU legislation changes in respect of Passengers with Reduced Mobility (PRM) effective from 26th July 2008, air carriers or their agents and tour operators are required to provide Gatwick’s PRM service provider with known pre-notification requests 36 hours prior to departure or arrival time.

2.2 Following consultation with airlines at the Charges group from 25th July 2012 to 18th October 2012, GAL is introducing a change to prices based on the existing three tier pricing mechanism on 1 November 2012.

2.3 The changes in pricing effective from 1 November 2012 being linked to an airline’s pre-notification performance, as summarized below:

Pre-Notification Performance

Price per Departing Passenger*

Greater than or equal to 24 hours notification

23 pence

Less than 24 hours notification, but greater than or equal to 2 hours notification

38 pence

Less than 2 hours or no notification

80 pence

* Note: Charge applies per Departing Passenger, not just per departing passenger using PRM service.

It is anticipated that not all of an airline’s PRMs will be achieved within just one of the three pre-notification bands set out above; rather, differing percentages will fall within each of the three bands. Accordingly, the overall charge per Departing Passenger for a given airline will be weighted according to the percentage of that airline’s PRMs that fall within each of the three pre-notification bands.

2.4 GAL will invoice airlines on a five day billing cycle (i.e. 1st – 5th, 6th – 10th) at a rate of 80 pence per Departing Passenger. A reconciliation will be undertaken following the end of each calendar month based on pre-notification performance through data provided by OCS’s Inform system. Any rebate resulting from this reconciliation will be raised one month in arrears.

2.5 The PRM pricing will be kept under review through the period 1 November 2012 to 31 March 2014 and any review and or changes may be undertaken on a quarterly basis in consultation with the Charges Group
